The deck is IMMEDIATELY handed to a spectator- the performer's hands being otherwise empty (really).

IMMEDIATELY, and with a truly empty hand, the performer removes the just signed card from his jacket's inner breast pocket.

As per the warning on the front over, a minor clothing modification is required. Once done, it's invisible and does not affect the apparel's wear-ability in any way. I've had the mod made in most of my jackets and suits, including a two thousand dollar Versace suit. This is direct and powerful magic.
