RISE by Martin Schwartz - Trick

The Rising Card is a classic of magic. Dr. Schwartz's RISE is a totally unique card rise. A freely selected card from a shuffled and examinable deck is lost in the deck. The deck is shown to have a hole running thru it. A Pencil is impaled thru the deck so the deck is now hanging from the pencil. The selected card rises from the center of the deck under these impossible conditions. A totally new idea and at the end of the trick, everything is examinable. No sleight of hand, very easy to do.
